Throughout her career, many have questioned Da Brat's sexuality because of her style. Any female who enters the male-dominated rap game is usually questioned. But, Da Brat came off just as tough, if not tougher, than most men in the game. She proved how tough she was when she assaulted a woman in 2007 in an Atlanta nightclub.
Following the assault, Da Brat was arrested and sent to prison. Early this week, Da Brat was released and placed under house arrest. For the next six months, she will be wearing an ankle monitor. Currently, Da Brat is trying to put her career back together. She is back with Jermaine Dupri and working on her fifth studio album.
Ever since she got out of prison, Da Brat has been giving her opinion on almost everything. She has spoken about almost everything that shapes hip hop in 2011. Now, Da Brat has finally discussed her time behind bars, answering all questions. When asked if she had any romance, Da Brat said she did not, but every woman in prison wanted Da Brat to spend time with them in their cells.
