Jay-Z and Kanye West grabbed headlines at the beginning of the year, when they announced their collaboration album. The album was named Watch the Throne and marked the first time Kanye West would record with Jay-Z as his equal.
Only days after announcing the album, a single was released from the album. Early in 2011, "H.A.M." was released and received a positive response from critics. But, after "H.A.M.," the album lost momentum.
Both Jay-Z and Kanye West have hectic schedules and were rumored to have taken to a hotel room to record. After being out of the news for some time, Watch the Throne is back in the headlines of hip hop.
Yesterday, it was reported that Beyonce was going to be featured on the project. Now, Bangladesh, the man behind Lil Wayne's "6 Foot 7 Foot," will be doing production on the album. There is still no set release date for this new project.
