On Tha Carter IV, Lil Wayne is going back to the basics that made Tha Carter III a success. First, Wayne reunited with Bangladesh. Recently, Lil Wayne also got back in contact with Jim Jonsin, the man behind "Lollipop."
Jim Jonsin has created several tracks that may or may not be used for Tha Carter IV. One of the tracks Jonsin has produced will feature Pitbull. Because he spends so much time in Miami, Wayne promised a Miami vibe on the album.
Pitbull is one of the most consistent rappers from Miami. He has had a few hits, but has remained an outsider in the game, for the most part. Having a feature on a Lil Wayne will do wonders for his career.
It is unclear if the song will be used for the album. Jim Jonsin did reveal he was the producer of the next single off the album. Jonsin said the song is comparable to the hit that started it all, "Lollipop." He said the song will be compared to the 2008 hit.
