In 2009, 50 Cent captured the attention of the hip hop world with his diss record, "So Disrespectful." Created in the vein of 2005's big diss record, "Piggy Bank," 50 Cent called out Young Buck, Game, B.G., Dr. Dre, and Jay-Z. The song definitely lived up to its title and was featured on several websites.
The popularity of the song was not enough to help the record sales of the Before I Self Destruct album. However, "So Disrespectful" did garner responses from Game and Young Buck. The song also helped facilitate 50 Cent's release from Aftermath Entertainment. Over a year after its release and the song is still making noise.
Recently, Grand Hustle rapper, Mike Bigga (Killer Mike), said the beat was intended for him. Speaking in front of a large crowd, Mike said 50 Cent stole the beat of "So Disrespectful." Currently, he is promoting his single, "Pressure," and doing a video for the song. While his song is relatively new, Mike says his version is older than 50 Cent's.
When 50 Cent heard the beat, he said he liked it and he used it for his own album. Now, with "Pressure" being release, many have assumed Killer Mike took 50 Cent's beat. Angrily, he has let everyone know the beat was his first.
