Last month, Drake announced he was back in the studio working on his second album, Take Care. The album will be released sometime in the summer of 2011 on Young Money. After the success of his last album, Young Money wants him to put together an album similar to Thank Me Later.

Drake, however, has different plans for his next album. He is an artist and he wants to continue growing. The label wants to keep him in a box, wanting 14 to 15 songs on the album. But, Drake wants to follow his own creative process. Drake does not want to limit himself for anyone.

The Toronto rapper wants to do interludes and other breaks on his next album and what Universal wants will not be enough for him. For his next album, Drake is taking it back to his mixtape days because he hears fans complain about how they miss that Drake. Wanting to stay true to himself, Drake is going out and doing Take Care for his fans, not for his label.
