Towards the end of 2009, Beanie Sigel made himself relevant again. Initially, he stepped up in defense of Jay-Z, but soon began dissing him. Beanie Sigel and 50 Cent teamed up to attempt to dismantle Jay-Z. Despite most of their many disses, they were ignored by Jay-Z.
Jay-Z replied months later by saying he gave so much to everyone on Roc-A-Fella. He went on to say Beanie Sigel was ungrateful. On Kanye West's "Monster," Jay-Z stated he was tired of being dissed by people he made millionaires. One of his most-successful artists was Beanie Sigel.
It was often said that Beanie Sigel could have become a star if he would have cleaned his lyrics up. The new method to becoming a star is to sign with Cash Money Records. The label is enjoying a strong run behind Lil Wayne and his Young Money crew. Beanie Sigel feels he could put his career back together if he were signed to the label.
While Beanie Sigel hopes to release his next album, Classic, on Cash Money Records, he hopes to star in films alongside 50 Cent.
