Earlier this summer, Drake and Alicia Keys worked together on a few projects. First, they worked together on Drake's intro for Thank Me Later, "Fireworks." Drake would write Alicia Keys' summer smash, "Unthinkable," to return the favor.

The contents of the song deals with a woman trying to lead a man into doing something out of the ordinary. During this same time, Drake's famous line "I love Nicki Minaj, I told her I'd admit, I hope one day we get married just to say we fuckin' did it" became popular.

Now, after he married and divorced Nicki Minaj, Drake said the song was inspired by her. During the promotion following the release of his album, Drake said he had a crush on Nicki Minaj. After hearing about what Drake had said, Nicki denied his feelings and said he was putting on for the camera. But, maybe there was a little truth to his story after he married Nicki and wrote a song for her.
