Throughout his career, 50 Cent has encountered all of the big names in one way or another. The Queens rapper is known for being involved in several high-profile feuds. He is also known for being a part of several high-profile collaborations.
Despite being an integral part of Dr. Dre's team for over five years, one person 50 Cent has never encountered has been Ice Cube. But, the two are well aware of each other. Ice Cube gave 50 Cent props in 2003, following the release of Beg for Mercy.
In many ways, 50 Cent's career is parallel with Ice Cube's. 50 Cent began as a hardcore rapper with his G-Unit crew. Over the years, his music softened, along with his image. Now, 50 Cent is primarily focused on making movies.
With so many similarities, 50 Cent and Ice Cube have agreed to work together. Currently, it is unknown what capacity they will be working. Both do movies and music, so they might do a movie together, or work together on music, or both.
