For years, Birdman has been making money. Twenty years ago, he had made Cash Money Records into a success. The label was very big in the New Orleans local scene. But, when he added superstars, Juvenile, B.G., and Lil Wayne, to the label, the movement went worldwide.
Not too many people have been able to have the success Birdman has enjoyed over the years. Also, not many people have had a run as long as his. Still, for years, he was not making the same kind of money Jay-Z and Diddy were. For two years, he has been trying to challenge Jay-Z.
Recently, Jay-Z responded to his money disses. Birdman has a reason to diss with all the money he has made. He replaced 50 Cent as third behind Diddy and Jay-Z on the Forbes list. The financial magazine announced Birdman's net worth to be $100 million. But, Birdman argues he is worth well over $100 million. While he is almost double this worth, Birdman said he felt honored to finally be on the list.
