Rick Ross has enjoyed a successful year as an artist and he hopes this will expand into his executive career. Ever since he started hanging out with Diddy, Rick Ross has been learning how to be a businessman. Initially, he had his Maybach Music label only to sign rappers from his area.
But, now that Rick Ross is big outside of simply his area and one of rap's focal points, he is expanding. Diddy had plans of expanding from the day he entered the game. Rick Ross has done like most rappers in the game, though. Initially, he came in with himself and once he became big, he expanded to a label.
There are a few artists signed to Maybach Music, but Rick Ross wants a few more. One of the new artists who caught the attention of the boss was Wale. Last year, Wale released his debut album, Attention Deficit, through Roc Nation/Interscope. Rick Ross has checked him out and is considering adding him to the Maybach Music roster.
Rick Ross said Wale is being slept on and he is one hit away from taking over the rap game.
