Snoop Dogg teamed up with Wiz Khalifa towards the end of 2010 with a remix of "Black & Yellow." The rappers have bonded over both rap music and their love of smoking. While those similar likes have bonded the rapper, Snoop Dogg is seeing the bigger picture of working with Wiz Khalifa.
While he had not worked with Wiz Khalifa until recently, Snoop Dogg has been a fan of his for some time. Ever since his days on the mixtape level, Snoop Dogg followed Wiz. Long before he was dominating the rap game, Wiz Khalifa was receiving props from Snoop Dogg.
Not only are the rappers making music, they also have a straight-to-DVD film, High School, coming out. Snoop Dogg is trying to help bridge the gap between hip hop. There is often talk about a gap that exists and Snoop Dogg says he plans to help solve this problem with Wiz Khalifa. This is the reason the two rappers are making movies along wth recording music.
Wiz Khalifa recently appeared on the new song, "That Good," with Snoop Dogg and they have more collaborations planned in 2011. The two rappers have even planned to perform together in West Virginia.
