Recently, there have been rumors of Yung Joc being in a physical altercation with Ricky Romance, the younger brother of Raz B. When he first came into the game, Yung Joc did all he could to avoid being involved with beef. His "It's Goin Down" hit was remixed by Cam'ron and included a diss to Jay-Z.

Yung Joc presented himself as a non-confrontational rapper and he asked Cam'ron to remove his verse. At the time, Yung Joc was receiving heavy radio play. Before the end of 2006, Joc began working on his next album. He had no idea the peak of his career had already passed him.

In 2009, Yung Joc returned to the headlines when he fought to get off his longtime label, Bad Boy Records. He returned to the headlines again when he was rumored to be in the fight. The story reports said the fight was won by Ricky Romance. Ever since then, both he and Raz B have been making comments about Yung Joc.

Tired of hearing it, Yung Joc asked both of them to stop talking about him. Joc said he does not have an issue with either one of them. But, he did admit he mentioned Raz B's name on a track off his Hustlenomics album.
