There has been a lot of talk about Kanye West after he pulled off the impossible with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Many media outlets suggested West quit after his actions in 2009. Kanye West simply took time off and came back in his best form yet.
While promoting his fifth album, he made a shocking announcement when he said he had another album coming. The album, however, would not be a solo release. Instead, the album would be a collaboration with Jay-Z.
Titled, Watch The Throne, the album was to unite two kings of hip hop, Jay-Z and Kanye West. The album will mark the first time Jay has shared the mic with Kanye as his equal. For years, Kanye West has said how he looked up to Jay-Z.
Even during his heavy promotional stint, the two rappers have been putting work in. Recently, when asked about the status of Watch The Throne, Kanye West said the album will be complete in one week. He said they have worked hard on it behind the scenes and it will soon be here.
