Throughout his career, 50 Cent has been very outspoken. There are few rappers who have an opinion about everything. 50 Cent is the exception to the rule. Recently, he gave his opinion about his former boss, Eminem, and his success selling records. Had it not been for Eminem's explosive year in 2002, 50 Cent's explosive 2003 may not have happened.
Before the release of his third album, 50 Cent was sure each of his albums would sell over 3 million copies. But, he was in for the surprise of his life when his next record barely sold 1 million. The sales of 50's last album have proven he will not always top the charts. 50 Cent now accepts this and has given his reasoning.
Through Twitter, 50 Cent talked about the frequent dissing going on with various rappers. Oddly enough, 50 Cent said artists should stop dissing each other and start supporting each other. He went on to say Eminem's records will never be broken by a black artist. No matter how good the music is, 50 Cent does not see any black artist, regardless of genre, selling as well as Eminem, or selling as well for as long as he has.
