Five years ago, Chamillionaire was on pace to be a bigger artist than Kanye West. Some predicted he would have a long run on the top of the game. But, Chamillionaire's style played out just as quickly as it played in. Despite not having a long run in the game, Chamillionaire gets credit for being original.
In the time since Chamillionaire last released an album, there have been plenty of biters in the game. Recently, Chamillionaire spoke about the new biters in the game. To all of the rappers who are stealing other styles, Chamillionaire is not pleased. The Houston rappers feels any rappers who sound like someone else should be slapped.
Wiz Khalifa, however, has caught Chamillionaire's attention, among many other veterans. Chamillionaire said he loves the way Wiz came into the game with an original style. As of 2011, it is rare for a new rapper to enter the game with his own distinct style. Chamillionaire also credited T-Pain with the way he has used the auto-tune over the past six years.
