Before he became famous, Kanye West worked closely with Talib Kweli. While he is now associated with the "in-crowd" of the hip hop game, Kanye West still works with Talib Kweli. Currently, Kanye is working with Jay-Z a collaboration album and Talib is among the first to hear it.

Ever since the release of their first single, "H.A.M.," everyone has been talking about the album. Many people feel the album will not live up to the hype of the single. But, after hearing most of the album, Talib feels the album will be classic. Unlike what most people think, he says it will be classic in a different way.

According to Talib Kweli, Watch the Throne will touch down on black history. Kweli said he heard one song, which is currently untitled, and it features a lot of black history. He went on to say that the beat was tough. Talib Kweli said all of the people hating on Jay-Z and Kanye West will be feeling left out after the release of the album.
