Rick Ross is finally coming into his own and is regarded by many as the most-popular rapper in the game. Over the past four years, he has really come a long way. When Rick Ross was just getting started, Eminem had taken a break from the game. Regarded as one of the most talented and popular artists, ever, Eminem was bored.
Right when Rick Ross began to make his move from being simply another Southern rapper to star, Eminem came back. Due to his break, the fans helped his comeback along. Ever since his 2009 comeback, Eminem has dominated radio alongside Rick Ross. Last fall, Rick Ross challenged Eminem to a beef.
After declaring "victory" over 50 Cent, Rick Ross felt it was time to move on to someone on his level. Eminem did not take the bait, having been through with feuds since his 2004 truce with Ja Rule. While Rick Ross did not recieve his wish in a lyrical feud, their albums, Teflon Don and Recovery are currently battling it out for the top spot. Rick Ross has held the spot through word of mouth and now it is time for the numbers.
Both albums are projected to sell upwards of 180,000 copies, but there is no guarantee about who will end up coming out on top.
