Gucci Mane creates new Record Label

Gucci Mane began his career as the flagship artist for the independent label, Big Cat Records. He released multiple independent albums for the label. But, last year, Gucci traded all of that in for his own label, So Icey Entertainment. The label was named after his 2005 hit.

In the past year of So Icey, not only has Gucci Mane made himself into a star, but he has also built OJ da Juiceman. Before his time at his own label, Gucci was written off as another crappy rapper. However, he has built his So Icey brand into a force in the game.

Despite all of the success and the fact that it is his own label, Gucci Mane has had enough. He has fired all of his managers in favor of new ones. Along with these firings, he has also decided to create a new record label. His next album will come on this new label.

No longer is Gucci Mane So Icey Entertainment. Now, he is Brick Squad Entertainment.
