Once again, Slim Thug has teamed up with E1 Music for a new album. Early in his career, Slim Thug was signed to Geffen Records through Pharrell's Star Trak label. Slim Thug released his debut album, Already Platinum, through that label situation.
However, when he was ready to release his second album, he was met with several delays. Because of this, Slim Thug worked on albums with the Boss Hogg Outlawz. The crew signed to E1 and released Serve and Collect in 2007.
While he waited on his own release date, Slim Thug recorded another album, Serve and Collect 2 in 2008. In 2008, Slim Thug grew tired of waiting and left Star Trak to release his next solo album through E1.
Slim Thug has released his last two solo albums on E1 Music and he is now preparing for the release of the next Boss Hogg Outlawz album through the label. On June 7, 2011, Slim Thug and the Boss Hoggs are preparing for the release of Serve and Collect 3.
