Fat Joe prepares “The Dark Side”

Following his worst album, commercially, Fat Joe was taunted by 50 Cent. Even as his career was in the decline, 50 Cent found solace in knowing that Fat Joe was doing worse than him. For years, people have been beginning to jump off of the Fat Joe bandwagon.More and more people were associating lame and Fat Joe with the same category.

Most people credit Fat Joe as great rapper for singles, but not being able to carry full albums. He has become famous for releasing one hit single off of an album. Following the success of that one single, his music tends to fall off until the next album. However, on his most-recent album, he did not even get that one hit.

A lot of critics blamed this on Fat Joe’s career being on the decline. However, Fat Joe said that the reason his music fell off was because he was too nice. In his career, Fat Joe has never been known for making “dark” music. But, on his latest album, Fat Joe said that he was going to forever change the way that the game was played. He then introduced The Dark Side.

Featuring collaborations from Jeezy, Trey Songz, Drake, and many others, the album is currently set for release sometime before the end of 2010.
