Rap-A-Lot Records lands distribution deal with Fontana Distribution

With today being the twenty-fourth anniversary of Rap-A-Lot Records, J. Prince has landed a new deal for his label. Established in 1986, Rap-A-Lot is best-known for the Geto Boys and their frontman, Scarface. For the past few years, Prince has had the label working with Asylum Records.

However, from this point forward, Rap-A-Lot will be under an exclusive distribution deal with Fontana Distribution. Ron Spaulding, the president of the company, is very happy to be doing business with J. Prince again. In the past, they have worked together and Spaulding loved the result. Now they are back in cahoots together, Spaulding and J. Prince are confident they will pick up where they left off years ago.

The deal is effective immediately and J. Prince is confident Rap-A-Lot will become the largest breadwinner for the Fontana division of Universal.
