ICP member claims Method Man at fault for concert attack

At a recent concert festival titled "The Gathering of the Juggalos," Method Man and Tila Tequila were assaulted with bottles, rocks, and many other weapons as they tried to perform. Pictures of Tila have shown her with bruises all over her body, and multiple facial cuts. Method Man was also assaulted, performing onstage with Redman. Video has surfaced of a beer bottle smashing him on the side of the face. Method Man fully intends to take legal action in the matter. Extra credit goes to both Meth and Tila for continuing to perform, even after having been struck with multiple weapons and in some cases, disgusting items.

But now Violent J, of horrorcore rap group Insane Clown Posse, the group most associated with the fans known as 'juggalos,' has come out claiming that Meth is at fault for the attack. He says that the crowd was chanting about "family," a key word in the Juggalo mindset, as they view one another as family, and that Meth then yelled back "F**k family. It's all about hip-hop." Violent J claims that this is what evoked the attacks from the fans, as initially the fan base had only made clear their intent to attack Tila when she arrived on stage. Redman was apparently unharmed.

These attacks were outright despicable. Anyone who attends a concert with their sole intent to harm anyone performing should be punished to the full extent of the law. Let's hope enough video footage can be found from this concert that those culpable are punished to the full extent. Many "Juggalos" can be found on youtube bragging about the harm they caused. I hope they are sent a message that true music fans would never demonstrate such stupidity. Go buy yourself a drink if you are at a festival and don't care for a certain act. Show some human decency.
