In 2004, Kanye West was the biggest new artist to emerge in the hip hop game. From the start, 50 Cent has hardly ever had anything positive to say about Kanye West. In 2007, 50 Cent said he would end his rap career if his album was outsold by Kanye West.

The two rappers created a beef in order to generate record sales. It seemed to get personal between the two when 50 Cent ended up losing the battle. The G-Unit rapper questioned West's sexuality and dropped his name in different songs.

Despite all the negative things he said about Kanye West, 50 Cent maintained he was a talented rapper. For the most part, Kanye West has ignored 50 Cent's disses. Kanye West is featured on Lloyd Banks' single, "Start it Up."

50 Cent hopes for more "what you gonna do it's G.O.O.D. Music and G-Unit" chants. The G-Unit CEO recently revealed his intentions of getting Kanye West to record with him on his new album. There is still no set release date nor title for 50 Cent's upcoming release.
