Dr. Dre gets serious about "Detox"

Jay-Z has been rumored to be on the first single of Detox. Those rumors have been confirmed by Dr. Dre. His recent collaboration will indeed become the first single from his long-awaited Detox. The chemistry that they share has created legendary tracks before. Their latest one is no different.

Dr. Dre said that their new single is titled "Under Pressure." Before the end of the month, the song should be released to radio. His announcement comes after he said that he may never release this album. At one point, Dr. Dre said that the album would probably not even get underway until 2011.

However, the energy from "Under Pressure" has led to Dr. Dre buckling down and getting to work. Once slated for a late 2011 release, Dr. Dre may end up releasing Detox this summer. While it may not come that soon, Dre said to expect it before the end of this year.
