Rick Ross is headed to Bad Boy?

Recently, Rick Ross has been hanging around Bad Boy Records' CEO, Sean "Diddy" Combs. They have been working together on new music. Their first collaboration was the remix to Diddy's single, "Angels." After the collaboration, Diddy compared Rick Ross to the late Notorious B.I.G. Because of their size and rapping style, a lot of people have compared Rick Ross to Biggie.

Immediately after Diddy made the comparison, Rick Ross accepted it and he complimented the rap mogul. Not only do the two men have a great working relationship, but they also have a great partying relationship. Being from Miami, Rick Ross is the city and Diddy has been a frequent guest since the late 1990s. The two hip hoppers have spent a lot of time together over the years. Until now, none of that time resulted in new music.

But, since it has been revealed that the two men get along so well, it is possible that Diddy may have a plan. Rick Ross is the biggest rapper from the South right now and Diddy's Bad Boy South is struggling. Ever since the departure of Yung Joc from Bad Boy South, the entire division has fallen apart. One of the main reasons that Diddy moved from Atlantic Records to Interscope Records was to rebuild the Bad Boy empire. At Atlantic, they were not giving him the freedom that he desired the most. Interscope Records, on the other hand, has never had an executive with the industry know how of Diddy, so whatever he says goes.

With this new label deal, it is possible that Diddy is prepared to make an offer to Rick Ross that he cannot refuse. The terms of this offer may consist of Rick Ross being the new central artist of Bad Boy South.
