For the past few years, Yung Armani has been doing all he can to break into the game. Starting in 2007, it was clear he was going to be a force in the game. Early on, a number of independent labels offered to sign him.
While Yung Armani did sign some small record deals, none of them lasted. In the music industry, one thing missing is trust. Afriad of being used, Yung Armani put out his music by himself.
Fresh off the release of First in Flight '91, Yung Armai knows the game is his for the taking. Because of this, he has decided he does not need to be signed. Instead, he is signing himself.
For the past two months, Yung Armani has been working with TBT Productions, who has done some videos for him. The working relationship has been beneficial for both sides and Yung Armani wants to do more. He feels as if he can trust the people with TBT Productions and the promotion has been fantastic. Because of that reason, alone, he has decided to team up with TBT Entertainment Group for his label, Head Gone Ent.
Towards the end of this year, Yung Armani's buzz built and his confidence level is through the roof. With the best partnership of his young career, the rapper is amassing talent in the Eastern North Carolina area in order to make his label one of the most-popular labels in the South. Finally in control of his career, Yung Armani plans to go from the mixtape game and put together his debut album.
Giving no specific timeframe, Yung Armani plans to release his album sometime in the first half of 2010 through Head Gone Ent./TBT Distribution.
